Commerce with a human center

A storefront that turns customer history into part of the experience.

The design brings the craft, existing sales reputation, and customer community together—then gives the owner a hands-off way to keep the story growing.

1,200+customer relationships brought into the brand story
12featured five-star reviews from established sales channels
1 clickfrom the approval email to automated photo processing
Behind the camera wall

A custom workflow that stays simple for the owner.

Submit → review → approve → publish

01

Customer shares a camera

A simple submission flow invites customers to add their own product photography.

02

The owner gets an email

The message includes the image and a direct approval action—no dashboard required.

03

One click approves it

The serverless workflow validates the decision and starts image processing.

04

The camera wall updates

The image is resized, optimized, and published without manually editing the site.

The opportunity

Show the craftsmanship without separating it from the people who use it.

Whisky Leather sells handcrafted camera straps and NFC keychains on Etsy and eBay. The owner needed a brand website that showcased the craftsmanship, but also wanted a way for happy customers to share photos of their cameras with his straps — without him having to manually manage uploads or resize images.

The system

Editorial photography in front. Serverless automation behind it.

I built a photography-inspired website with a fully automated customer photo gallery. When a customer submits a photo, the owner gets an email and can approve it with one click. The photo is automatically resized, optimized, and added to the site — no uploading, no editing, no touching the website at all. The whole process takes seconds. A Cloudflare Workers serverless backend handles all the image processing behind the scenes.

Not knowing anything about web design, I had to put my complete trust in Louis’s hands—and I am absolutely blown away!

The website itself is incredible and has far surpassed my expectations. But what impressed me most wasn’t just how great the site looks—it was the incredible attention to detail that Louis put into creating it.

He went above and beyond by researching my business after we spoke and incorporating details I didn’t even know were available, including information about my sales history, previous customer feedback, and other details that truly helped showcase my small business.

I never asked him to do any of that. He simply took the time and effort to learn about my business and find ways to make the website better. That kind of personal attention is something I don't believe you can get from one of the big corporate website companies.

I couldn’t be happier with the result or with the experience of working with Louis.

Thank you, Louis, for going above and beyond!
